Tacoma Convention & Trade Center

Is it time for the annual business meeting, maybe a wedding reception or a trade show?  The Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center just might be the place.  It is one of Washington’s newest and largest meeting and convention facilities located in the heart of downtown Tacoma.  I can’t think of a better place to have a meeting then at this place because of the spectacular views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier.  To find out more about the venues, go to:  http://www.tacomaconventioncenter.com/

Grassi’s

I got the chance to meet Kim Grassi, owner of Grassi’s florist and gift shop.  Kim and her husband Ken opened the Tacoma store in 1979 on the corner of Union and Center Street and opened a second store on Pacific Ave downtown Tacoma.  I now know why I enjoy visiting their stores.  Not only do they have fabulous gifts and a great decor…Kim is a wonderful person with a caring attitude that reflects in her business.  If you are looking for just the right gift or a gorgeous floral arrangement, Grassi’s is the place!  They go the extra mile to make sure every detail of the gift is made to perfection.  They also have a cafe upstairs in their downtown store with a breakfast and lunch menu.  I’m excited to try it out next week at their Sweethart dinner they offer every year with a five course meal.  I know once you check out this video you to will want to visit their stores!   RealEstateShows.com/253260

Indochine Restaurant

Downtown Tacoma across from the Union Station is an upscale Asian cuisine.  It is decorated with beautiful wood, black leather, gorgeous drapery and a fountain in the middle.  The food is great and the prices are under $30.  I havn’t had anything I didn’t like, my favorite is the spring rolls and the cashew chicken.  It’s a great place for a buisness luncheon or an evening out on the town.  For more information visit: http://indochinedowntown.com/AboutUs.htm
