Hi Carol - I lived in SLC, UT for many years when I was in college. One of my favorite hangouts was "The Blue Mouse" theater which was a small 100-seat, European cinema where one could watch an amazing array of Foreign, Independent, Weird, Alternative and downright non-categorizable films. Since it was in the late 70's and early 80's, the Rocky Horror Picture Show was a main stay. I think it's interesting that Tacoma and SLC had similar venues.

Go fish is a good answer these days. All the indicators that used to be reliable for predicting which way rates would move are no longer working. The best advice I can offer for any anyone considering a mortgage is to make sure their Loan Originator has the ability to lock in the rate and float down should rates improve. Most are offering free "float downs" these days since the market is so volatile. (Float down is different than "floating" which means your rate is not locked).

I'm always trying for photos like that of Mount Rainier. Gorgeous shot and there is no nicer place to be on a sunny day. I don't know if you know this, but what used to be where Dukes is now? Was it Klinkerdagger? (just went to Dukes last weekend for the first time and had their macadamia encrusted halibut--yummy)

I love Union...I used to live on 7th and Stevens, and worked on Union. Running from work, down Union, past UPS, is a great treat. Like you said, any time of year it's beautiful.
